Towards of Homecoming, SHIAM Held Integrated Post Booth for Transport Lebaran Monitoring Year 2016/1437 H

Makassar - In order to welcome the homecoming and backflow during Lebaran 2016 (1437 H), today Friday, June 25, 2016, PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) simultaneously held integrated post booth of Lebaran Monitoring Year 2016/1437 H included in Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar (SHIAM).

In SHIAM, activities of this post involves several elements, namely from the Air Force, Police, Airport Authority Region V Makassar, AirNav, Basarnas, CTF, and the Airlines. This event was officially opened by the Head of the Airport Authority of Region V, accompanied by the General Manager SHIAM attended by all relevant agencies.

During the booth opening, Head of Airport Authority Region V Makassar, Mr. Basuki Mardianto said that "In monitoring the readiness of Lebaran homecoming and backflow this time, the Director General of Transportation (DGoT) has done some activities to check the flight (ramp check) for airworthiness flight. DGoT already check as many as 529 aircrafts in Indonesia, for more or less within the province there are 100 aircraft have been in ramp check. This activity is carried out for the safety of the passengers and all the existing aircraft in SHIAM all results are good and worthy to be flown.”

From Angkasa Pura side, in this occasion Mr. Akhmad Munir as the General Manager of Airports SHIAM also expressed "for readiness in SHIAM besides establishing integrated post booth of Lebaran transport monitoring supported by elements related such as the Air Force, Police, Airport Authority Region V Makassar, AirNav, BMKG, Basarnas, a subsidiary of Angkasa Pura Angkasa Pura Logistics and Support as well as on the part of the airlines in SHIAM all work together to maintain security, safety and smoothness during Lebaran post running".

In order to establish a smooth flow of homecoming and  backflow, in addition to Integrated post, Angkasa Pura also set up various facilities, "during the post we prepare booking tickets counter on line for free, the readiness of health response including medical personnel such as doctors along with nurses on guard 24 hours everything was for the passengers who will be going home after Eid at SHIAM, but to remain distributed free takjil (snack for fasting break) which had been running since the beginning of fasting", said by General Manager SHIAM, Akhmad Munir during the press conference.

From earlier before the Lebaran post, airlines operating in SHIAM to date in total has added 20 extra flight to anticipate raising of passengers, where extra flight was prepared from several Airlines that of Sriwijaya 12 Flight, Garuda 2 Flight, Lion Air 4 Flight and Silk Air 2 Flight.

The readiness of security during Eid post SHIAM management in collaboration with the Air Force of unity POM AU and Special squad also from the SHIAM police service will conduct routine security by conducting patrols equipped with weapons and dogs (K9).

The series event of the post opening, starting with simple ceremony, briefing of the Head of Airport Authority Region V Makassar, ribbon cutting of posts, and also held a video teleconference with the Post Master at the Centre, Minister of Transportation, Mr. Ignatius Jonan said "that every airport could maintain flight safety also maintain smooth and order during the post took place, and hope to be able to provide better service to the passengers who will be going home ".

Meanwhile the combined personnel strength Post Lebaran in SHIAM consists of 80 people, both internal Angkasa Pura and from external parties, which will be tasked with the task time-sharing system.

Every day in the post an officer will stand by to provide information to the central post, and has a major task to provide services in order to facilitate the homecoming and backflow to the passengers.
